Alex:Wha-whats this? Shinbo’s name is on a series that ISNT averagely boring?
My problem with the style they use is that its either horribly overdone or immensly cramped, forcing all the series to go down the same route. That’s not really the case here; the style shines through, yet its not all-out, allowing for a really pleasant not-so-average slice of life series to be born.
But like, what do I say about this series? Its not bog-standard slice of life, yet its standard enough to ensure that it remains within the grounds of reality…yet even when it doesn’t, it’s still hilarious. I mean, it parodies alien life and its just as funny as making fun of Hotori’s little brother and playing detective with the Math Teacher. It DOES look like a series full of cliches and boring elements, but it isn’t. I honestly don’t know what to say about such a normal yet unormal series that i’ll hope the score talks more than my ranting does.
And it’s got one heck of a great OP and ED.
